Samantha Ellis known by Art of Memory is a Jamaican-American creative entrepreneur specializing in photography and filmmaking, based in New York City. Raised in Long Island, she grew up with a love for travel and picked up the camera at the age of 23. With a passion for capturing memorable moments & storytelling, she has built her business inspired by the grit and beauty of her upbringing. 

Starting her career in landscape photography, she was inspired by her mother’s love for traveling the world. Exposed to the beauty of different cultures early on in life, she lived in Hawaii, New Orleans, and Florida for summers at a time. 

A documentarian and storyteller, Art Of Memory works to bring her subjects to life by amplifying an array of voices. “Making people smile & bringing positive energy to those around me is my superpower.”

Passionate about activism, volunteerism, and seeing the world through her lens, Art Of Memory can be found scouting her latest location with the freshest kicks on her feet.
